Editorial and Advertising Standards
Last updated
The rules we use to keep our guides original, our examples clearly fictional, and advertising separate from the tools people use to create mockups.
Who is responsible
SocialMock is built, tested and maintained by ACKPlus Solutions. Questions, corrections and complaints go through our contact form, which routes by topic and states a response time, or directly to contact@socialmock.com. We correct factual errors and update the review date on the affected page.
How our guides are produced
Product explanations come from testing the live editor and its export flow. Legal, safety and platform-policy claims are checked against primary sources such as legislation, regulators and the platform's own documentation. We link those sources beside the relevant claim and distinguish facts from our own judgement. We do not publish scraped, spun or mass-generated articles simply to target a search query.
Interface details and feature counts are checked against the product registry at build time where possible. Comparisons state what was tested and when. A guide is updated when the product or a cited source materially changes; changing a date without reviewing the content is not an update.
Fictional examples and safety
Templates use invented people, organisations and situations. Safety examples explain scam patterns from the victim or educator's point of view; they are not instructions for carrying one out. We do not approve examples that impersonate a real person, fabricate an endorsement, present a simulated exchange as evidence, or imitate an official, financial or legal record for deceptive use.
Anyone publishing a mockup that could be mistaken for a real exchange should enable the burned-in Simulated label. The full prohibitions are in our Acceptable Use policy.
Advertising separation
Advertising may appear only on substantial editorial guides that have been individually reviewed for accuracy, originality and policy compliance. We do not place ads in the studio, generator landing pages, template gallery, saved projects, previews, download dialogs or exported media. An ad is never styled as an editor control or download button.
Advertisers do not choose our topics, approve our conclusions or receive the message text, images or scenes a visitor creates. Sponsored content, if we ever publish it, will be labelled clearly at the beginning of the page. We do not currently publish sponsored articles.
Privacy and corrections
Our Privacy Policy explains analytics, advertising cookies, cloud saves and retention. To request a correction or report content that violates these standards, use our contact form or email contact@socialmock.com, giving the page address and the specific issue.
