Set the contact and subtitle
Telegram writes last seen recently or a specific time under the name rather than a simple online flag. Bots get a bot label instead, which changes how the thread reads.

Set the ticks

How the Telegram interface is put together
Our Telegram skin is rebuilt from the real interface in code rather than traced from a screenshot, so the details that make it recognisable survive at export resolution. Here is what those details actually are.
The wallpaper is a gradient with a symbol tile
Telegram's default is a soft blue-grey gradient overlaid with a faint tiled pattern, not a flat sheet. We render both layers so the thread sits on something with depth.
Typing goes in the header, in accent blue
Telegram replaces the last-seen line with typing, in its accent blue. It never shows a dots bubble in the thread - a detail most generators get wrong.
Ticks are green, not blue
Telegram uses green check marks for delivered and read, unlike WhatsApp's blue. One tick sent, two read.
Bubbles are wider than most
Telegram lets a bubble run noticeably wider than iMessage or Instagram do, which changes where long messages wrap.
The subtitle is last seen
Telegram shows last seen recently or a specific time rather than a simple online/offline flag.
The composer carries a paperclip and sticker
Attachment on the left, emoji and sticker access on the right, with a mic that becomes a send arrow once you type.
